The main activity of University Lucian Blaga of Sibiu is tertiary education through 15 faculties and over 20.000 students in various domains: from medicine to engineering, law and science. ULBS has established academic links and partnership agreements with 85 universities in 35 countries, among which - US, German, French and UK, Chinese, Russian, Italian, Greek and Polish universities.
An important activity is teacher training and the Department for Teacher Training is responsible for that. Also, the Faculty of Psychology dedicated the last years to early childhood education while implementing a national project and TRAM (Transitions and Multilingualism) - a Transnational Comenius Project. The staff members involved in the project are experts in the field of developmental psychology, psychological counselling, and in working with primary school children.
