This "European Music Portfolio - Maths" CPD Course will take place in Barcelona, Spain and last five days (Mon. 5. - Sat. 10. September 2016).

The overarching aim of this course is to discover new connections between music and maths teaching and learning. This course builds on materials, tools and activities designed and collected in collaboration with teachers and experts from several European countries. It offers practical experiences and opportunities to explore ways of creatively linking music and maths teaching and learning. The activities support the development of deeper knowledge of music and mathematics and an understanding of how these subjects can be integrated in order to enhance the children’s learning experiences.

The course is very practical and participants will leave with lots of ideas to introduce in their classrooms. This course is for anyone engaged in education with a focus on early years, primary or early secondary.

The course will take place in Barcelona city, so this is an exciting opportunity to learn new things, meet new people and explore Barcelona and its surroundings.

The course dates are 5 September - 10 September 2016

Course Fee: 650€ (including coffee-breaks). Travel, accommodation and meals are not included.

The course will be delivered in English.
